The last three years have been quite a medical journey for me. It started with a trip to the ER with what was thought to be a mini-stroke. A series of tests led me to a diagnosis of Autoimmune Limbic Encephalitis with LGI1 antibody. After treatment and remission, symptoms again led me through a “wild goose chase” and to another diagnosis – Coccidiomycosis – “Valley Fever”. A series of more tests labeled that diagnosis as “false positive” and the hunt for answers continues.

This page highlights some of the tests and procedures that I have experienced along the crazy medical journey. Hopefully this will help other people who have to go through some of these tests.
